A TOP Harley Street surgeon is bringing the world of NipTuck toCardiff, providing a one-stop-shop for plastic surgery in the city.
Welsh-born surgeon Dai Davies is joining the clinic which providescosmetic surgery for those who want a face lift, tummy tuck or anew nose.
Dr Davies joins the practice of Dr Harryono Juddihardjo, medicaldirector of the Cellite Clinic in Cardiff, which specialises intreating skin conditions including help for those who may have beenaffected by a stroke or cerebral palsy.
Dr Davies said by coming down to Cardiff it meant patients wouldnot have to travel to London to see a Harley Street surgeon.
“This new venture will be more convenient for the patient, particularly following a surgical procedure, and will mean they canbe treated locally rather than all the inconvenience of making thejourney to London,” he said.
“Patients can also have the reassurance of being cared for ina familiar environment staffed by a team of highly-trainedprofessionals with their initial consultation and after-carecarried out locally.”
The surgery will be performed at the Spire Hospital –formerly Bupa – in Pentwyn, Cardiff.
Dr Juddihardjo said: “As cosmetic procedures have become moreacceptable, safer and more affordable, greater numbers of ourclients have been requesting them. It is no longer the choice forthose who are super rich or in showbusiness. Many more ordinarypeople are now seeking this treatment if they want to make thechoice for medical reasons, or cosmetic reasons. It is also farquicker to be treated locally and then get home sooner.
“Our clinic is now truly a one-stop cosmetic treatment centrethat can cater for all cosmetic needs.”
